Default Will the Harmony 880 learn this ...?

I was thinking about getting a Harmony 880 but if I'm spending that much on a remote i want to contol everything, even my Blu-ray player **cough** PS3

Here's the 880

Yeah but the cost could be an issue

You can get a 880 @ a good price for example

I'm hoping Sony will produce a USB attach IR receiver and publish the raw hex codes so I can program my Philips Pronto. The remote you linked doesn't have all the functions of the BT remote such as the color keys, pop-up menu, and the all important PS button. I am also a bit frustrated that the USB IR adapter takes a controller slot and controller 1 to boot!

Where can I give feedback to Sony? This is functionality is something I'd pay a lot more than the cost of their BT remote. There are manufacturers that publish the complete .pcf file for direct import into the Philips software when they ship a new product.

It can but it won't be able to do everything the PS3 bluetooth remote can. If you want to know what it can control, just try using your controller for a movie. Those are the functions it is duplicating with the exception of the PS button and analog sticks of course.

I'd dig on an IR to BT transceiver that draws just power from a USB port that woud pick up my IR and repeat it to the PS3 in BT.

Just get a PS3 remote. You really dont even need it since controllers are wireless as well.

The Blu-Wave remote will do everything that the PS3 remote will do, with the exception of the PS Button. I am currently using it with my Harmony 550 and it works great.
