Every time you watch one, post the name of the movie, rating and your thoughts on it. This should get everyone into the Halloween spirit and give us movie buffs ideas on movies we may not have seen. Please keep your thoughts generic and if you post spoilers, use the spoiler tags. The movies do NOT have to be on Blu-ray!

Ratings:
Abysmal, would never watch again!
Poor excuse for a horror film, but it had one or two moments of horrific joy.
Average hack 'n slash fun.
Greatness is almost achieved, lots of blood/guts/suspense.
The pinnacle of scary movies...it's one of kind. There's nothing like it!

It's spooky season y'all!!!

In honor of the 16th year of this thread, I decided to theme the poll around the "Sweet Sixteen" - for those that are unaware of what this is - I believe it is mainly a US thing - this is a coming of age party celebrating a person's 16th birthday that is often a large, lavish celebrations. Traditionally, it is common that sweet sixteens are mostly celebrated by girls, but they can also be celebrated by boys. I love horror movies and the Halloween season, but as always, it's just too darn hot to get into the spirit right now. The weather forecast is 95 degrees (give or take) for the next 7 days. UGH.
