This is a good movie. Halle Berry, Billy Bob Thorton, Heath Ledger, and Peter Boyle give great performances.

I even thought Sean Combs was very effective in his role.

Which cut will be released? I believe both cuts of the movie were released separately on dvd. I would hope seamless branching of both versions is included.

There were two versions of this film? Was there an unrated version and what version is the BR release? Might change my mind on this film...

I found this at walmart for 7.88 and did a blind buy. It's really good so far.

Yeah, It's a great movie. I only wish the transfer wasn't DNR'd because this can look alot better with grain. Still better than the old DVD

I enjoyed Monster's Ball. It was a little different than I expected , but in a good way.

Only reason Berry won the Oscar was because she got naked. She certainly didn't deserve it on ability alone.

Plus, it was "black actor" year (with additional wins for Denzel Washington and a career achievment award for Sidney Poitier). Denzel didn't deserve to win either (for that film. In general, he's a wonderful actor).
