Vexille anime movie coming November - Blu-ray Forum

Vexille will be coming out to Blu-ray November 4th http://www.releaselists.com/ and if you dont know how its like its kind of like Appleseed with amazing CGI animation

When you say kind of like Appleseed, do you mean the plot (i.e. future, mecha, combat tech), or do you mean graphically? If it's along the likes of GitS and Appleseed this will be a good blind buy for me!

I saw both Appleseed and Vexville. Frankly, Vexville is not quite as good as any of the two Appleseed movies. It's not bad but not great either.

My advice would be for you to rent it before buying it.

Then again I'm sure a lot of people loved it.

im one of them who really enjoyed this movie but yes it may not be as good as appleseed because thats like almost impossible but its still worthy but yes Appleseed fans would love this and its even from the producer and director of Appleseed

Vexille looks every bit as good as Appleseed. It has a couple of fairly spectacular moments. However, the story is rather generic and I found it boring to sit through. These full-length anime movies would be so excellent if they just worked harder on the plot and dialogue...

Gonna pick up the Blu version at BB this morning after sending back the DVD version Tower sent me (I ordered the Blu-ray version, but they sent me the wrong one).

There are HD trailers for Samuari 7 and Darker than Black on the disc.

the Samurai 7 trailer was to be expected to have a trailer in HD(even though i wish they had done the same with the Fullmetal Alchemist movie trailer which by the way i dont know yet if that trailer is on the Vexille Blu-ray but i do know it was on a couple of the DBZ Blu-rays being in SD). But it does suprise me though that the Darker then Black trailer is in HD and also i think on the previous Blu-ray the Tree of Might and Lord Slug double feature of the DBZ movies i believe the Tsubasa trailer was in HD

I watched Collector's Edition Appleseed this past weekend and the whole thing was great. If Vexille is close, I'll get it!

I didnt like it as much as Appleseed, but it was worth a watch.

Not sure how this has slipped below the BD radar what with very good PQ and AQ. Some folks are usually are all over titles like that but obviously the content of a movie is of prime importance. I know there are anime viewers on the forum so I'm not sure what to make of this BD not being discussed at least to some extent.

I saw this movie already on BD even though it says it available just for pre-order from Amazon. I rent it at Netflix. The PQ was a 5/5 Audio was pretty great like a 4/5 but the Movie was bad 1.5/5 the .5 is for trying the story was silly action was decent (could have being worse...)though. Rent it at Netflix seriously.

Amazon show in stock and show that it came out November 4th 2008 like it did so.......

Probably because Vexille is nowhere near as good as Appleseed(same people behind both series). The PQ and AQ are great I won't argue that but will say that the movie is like 3 stars or maybe a slight 3.5 while Appleseed is more like 4.5 stars. The movie is underappreciated but it just didn't appeal to fans like Appleseed did.

Ya, I already own the first release from way back. The PQ is great. I enjoyed it....actually I think I liked it more than Appleseed (1 & 2).
