I was browsing reviews here and other sites and have become interested in buying some concert blu's. I'm really tempted to buy the Foo Fighters Blu-ray that was just reviewed on here since I'm a pretty big fan of them and maybe The Police concert Blu-ray. Any other good recommendations?

Very surprised at how great the Moody Blues disc is. Nice interview with them on it too. Last Waltz is a very nice transfer as well. Elton 60 Live At MSG was great too. I was less impressed with the Alice Cooper disc. He seems to rush through the songs and it seemed more contrived, like he is sick of playing many of his hits. While all of the above artists no doubt are too, they disguise it much better on those discs.

You absolutely cannot go wrong with Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds Live at Radio City Music Hall.
Reference picture and reference 24/96 5.1 audio. Even if you're not a fan of DMB's music, when it's just D+T on stage it's a completely different show. |

Yes the Dave Mattews is great..The NIN Beside you in Time is fabulous also...
I keep bugging them, but, MUSE has yet to release HAARP on Blu-Ray...it was filmed in High Def...you'd think they would want to release it...but!!! That will get my highest recommendation when it comes out. |

I could use some advice.
The Christmas money is coming in and I would love to add one concert BD to my humble library. I own the Police and Dave Matthews and Tim R. concerts. These shows seem to rank up there in most viewers opinions so I'm afraid I have been a bit spoiled. I'm looking for a concert that won't be a let down. I know that everyone has their own tastes, but I'd appreciate some help picking my next BD show. Here are the finalists (in no particular order):
Is there another must-own that I have missed? Cheers! |

The Justin Timberlake concert's audio mastering isn't great. Not recommended. The only other one I have on that list is the John Mayer one, which I do recommend. It sounds really good and lively.

I saw this last night on Palladia, although in standard dolby, it was still awesome.
