You must be kidding. Have you not done a little homework around here, or at least browsed the threads on displays?

Dilemma solved.

Though I have the top of the Pioneer Kuro line, the Elite series, I would definitely recommend the regular Kuro line to anyone not wanting to spend the extra money.

The Elite version of the 5020 is the PRO 111. There are quite a few differences, which can be looked through at www.pioneerelectronics.com

Most notably, the Elite features a more extensive calibration menu for color accuracy. Further, the speakers are side mounted as opposed to bottom mounted. The warranty works differently as well. I will let others explain the other differences.

But end with the price tag, which for the 50" model, the PRO 111 is around USD 4,500 I believe?

Rightfully so. Yeah, honestly, I would without question go for the Pioneer. Behind the Elite, it is the next best TV out there, and all the reviews say that. Enjoy it.
