Default I have a dilemma...

Hi guys. So last year I decided when it came to getting a new laptop for Christmas, I would decide to get one with Blu-ray to see what it's all about. I love it, basically. But then I started to get problems with PowerDVD. I have the OEM version of 7.3 which came with the laptop. It was fine until 2 weeks ago when I needed to download an update to play a new BD title. So I downloaded the update (build 5105), however I noticed there were little jumps in the sound while watching any Blu-ray, even my older ones, so that ruled out a problem with my disc. (also my older titles play fine when I re-install 7.3 without build 5105 so that ruled out a problem with my laptop) Anyway, I decided to contact Cyberlink to fix the problem, but after trying lots of their solutions (different patches, updating my sound card drivers) nothing could fix the sound issues. Now, build 5105 just refuses to play any BD AT ALL, and their older patches don't support the new titles I purchased.

So getting to the point of my post, I think I'm ready to go out and buy the full version of the latest BD software and I need some advice on which to buy (or if anyone can tell me how to fix my problem with 7.3 that would be great!). Someone told me that PowerDVD has a reputation for problems, so I'm a little cautious of forking out money on PowerDVD 9. I was recommended to buy WinDVD instead, however it doesn't seem to support BD Live. So which one do I buy? Also, if there are any other players you could recommend, that would be appreciated too.

Thanks in advance!
