Saw it...didn't really laugh. Almost laughed once, was more of a smirk and chuckle. Pack theater last weekend on opening week and no one laughed the entire movie.

HILARIOUS!! O man, just hysterical. Anybody that loves Jim Carrey won't be disappointed whatsoever. I wish he could be in more comedies nowadays.

It had its funny parts more of a cute romantic comedy I guess, it was good though I enjoyed it.

Exactly! It's cool how two people who saw the same movie can have two totally differing opinions of it. Is the negative reviewer a Jim Carrey fan? Did you know what you were getting into when you went to see this movie, or did your gf/wife drag you to it? I haven't seen it myself, but I'm curious. Some people like this type of movies, others don't.

Carrey was back in fine form. Basically a combo of Liar, Liar and Bruce Almighty (in a way) but overall, a solid comedy. Not the greatest but certainly enjoyable.

Thought it was pretty solid overall. mazter has it right, a mix between Liar, Liar (the gimmick) and Bruce Almighty (the romance).

Theatre I saw it at was packed and they were all laughing.

And my oh my has Zooey Deschanel been climbing up my Hollywood crush list. She actually makes bangs look good.

Yea that's funny how it contrasts. But there were tons of laughs throughout the movie, I don't see how there can't be. I will say this though... anyone who is going to it to see Carrey will certainly be pleased. I already gave a fuller opinion here:

I mean comedy will always be somewhat selective to peoples' tastes, but if you've seen Jim Carrey's acting before, this is no different.

Is it fair to say that so far everyone who saw Yes Man, enjoyed Yes Man with the exception of Darko and everyone in the theater where he saw it?

My wife and I saw it and liked it. It's a Jim Carrey comedy. That pretty much sets the expectation.

I actually thought it was awesome, And Zooey Deschanel is hot! It had a good message too. I left the theater going "man I should get out more and go bungee jumping and shit"

This is the opinion basically anyone who likes this sort of movie should come up with. Very worthwhile watch and plenty of funny moments. The plot didn't flow like I would expect it to, but the point of this sort of movie is about more than the story. Look at it as a vehicle for funny and good times rather than a means to tell a meaningful story.
