Tons of great movies. But one that is awesome that sometimes gets over looked is Dr. Strangelove
You can't fight in here, this is the war room!

Man, how can i pick just one.
Let's go with 2001:ASO, but i could easily pick 3 others as a tie.

Ok, so i picked 2001, Clockwork, Strangelove, and the Shining.
Seems like cheating, since one ultimately has to be your favorite.

Very Tough Choices indeed. Went with Clockwork Orange the first 45 min of that film are insane! But Full Metal Jacket and 2001 were a very close second !!!

Tough to pick, nearly all of his films are great. My personal favorites are Paths of Glory, Spartacus, Dr. Strangelove, 2001, A Clockwork Orange, and Full Metal Jacket. Not sure if I have an "overall" favorite.

VERY tough. It was between 2001 and Clockwork. I went with 2001 his magnum opus. Kubrick was the greatest director of all time.

Indeed. Only Hitchock comes close for me and he comes very close. Gotta give him kudos for being first and for the quantity of films he made as well. Kubrick is crazy good though.

No love for Eyes Wide Shut? They're all filmed so well. Kubrick was a photographer so that + perfectionist = fine films.

Spartacus is the only one of his films that I actually sit through. And it is the only one I like.

Ironically it is the film that Kubrick himself liked the least. He swore he'd never make films for the studios after that.

How could he? He died before it was finished.

Dr. Strangelove and 2001 are head and shoulders above all the others. 2001 I guess would be the more "important" or "landmark" film but for me personally I prefer Strangelove.
