Default Red2Blu question

I'm hoping I am posting this question in the right thread.

Does anyone know if other companies will be following in WB's footsteps with their own Red2Blu type deal or should I just go ahead and replace the remainder of my HD-DVDs?

You may want to post you question in the Digital Bits thread as Jeff or Bill might be able to answer this.
