Hey Guys, Im a total audio noob and after done some extensive research Ive decided on a solid entry level system that should be coming in this week sometime. I have an Onkyo 606, Polk Monitor 60's and 30's and a CS1, I also have an AA HD10 sub coming as well.
My questions now are more about tuning the system at this point. First off I'm pretty positive that all my speakers will be set to small. Is that what you would recommend for my set up? From what I have read the 606 allows you to set crossovers for individual speakers. The monitor 60's range from 38 to 25 hz, the 30's range from 55 to 25hz, and the cs1 ranges from 55 to 25 as well. What would you guys recommend I set each of these speaker's crossovers at? Secondly when it comes to the sub (AA HD-10) I know that I should have the crossover dial turned all the way up to 130hz correct? But I guess my real question is what should my crossover in the reciever be for the sub? Thanks in advance, Sean |
