I started Dec. 2008. I went up to 125 blu's but I've been selling them to reallocate funds to build a better sound system.

Started my collection in mid-December 2008. I've been buying about 2 per week since then, sometimes more.

I'm going to be off work for 5 weeks starting today because of major surgery I am having this Wednesday, so I've been buying a few more. After all, I have to do something with my time other than playing Guitar Hero, right?

Started blu-ray about 2 months ago, threw out all my old equipment, keep my speakers. And since switching all I seem to do is either watch Blu-rays,
or listen to CD,s, I have HDTV, but cannot stand to turn it on anymore.

I did keep all my DVD,s until I can find something to do with them.

Don't tell me that Blu-ray is all you watch now? Or that you won't watch them, because they don't measure up! I still watch my DVD's, even though I own more Blu's. Watched Braveheart the other night and it was fantastic...it'll be super-duper fantastic on Blu, but in the meantime the DVD works just fine.

Received a couple Blu's at Christmas, same time I got the PS3, but didn't start buying my own until after the new year. Not doing too bad, but I will slow down eventually. Only going to buy what I know I'll like. The nearest rental store is close to an hour away, so blind buying is something I do regularly. So after blind buying Pineapple Express, Drillbit Taylor, and Jumper, I've decided to cut back on movies I think I might like, and buy ones I know I will like. Sounds strange, but I'm getting better judging my tastes in movies. Those three movies were terrible.

I never collected DVD's. I have some TV shows on DVD, but other than that, maybe five or six movies, so I'm technically very new to the movie viewing experience. I also haven't been to a movie theater in probably four years. It's also an hour away.

Blu-ray is the only way I see movies now, save if I can find the time to watch one on TV. Problem is, any time I watch TV I always tune into sports. I've also cut back on buying Blu's to upgrade the Audio equipment, but now that that's done, I might still cut back now that spring is coming and I'll be on the field for days on end.

I do the same thing, I only buy movies I like and that I would watch over and over. I think 10 of my movies I got free so those ones don't count.
