You need to play with it but the best thing I can suggest is try setting the speakers to Small, then crossover or filter frequency of about 80-100 hz, you will have to test this and see what works best for you, the Sub is small so you may want it to be higher or lower on the crossover?

Good luck.

callas is absolutely right, but the frequency rating of 30 Hz - 35 kHz doesn't seem quite right. I'm only guessing because I've never heard the speakers before, but with 2 1/4" woofers on the L/R towers, I can't believe they would be any good at reproducing a frequency below 100 HZ. Then again too, your not gonna get alot of thump out of a 6 1/2 woofer, but it will fill in some nice lower frequency sound. Do exactly as callas advised, but you may also want to play around with raising the x-over of the mains to 100 just to see what it sounds like. Another money saving idea is that if the bass isn't what you love, then think about adding a subwoofer. You can get a decent Acoustic Audio sub for couple hundred.

The frequency response of 30Hz to 35Hz does not really mean anything. You have to look at the frequency response with +-3dB limit. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not give those numbers. I wouldn't be surprised if the real low frequency response doesn't go below 50Hz. As Callas suggested, try different frequencies between 60Hz to 100Hz and decide for yourself. If you can't hear a major difference, leave it at 80Hz.

It is also helpful to read A Guide to Bass Management.

If the advise above hasn't provided any real results that you are looking for, you could always try an SPL meter. The following is a link to a digital SPL meter from Radio Shack, as they can be had for about $50....

http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=2103667

And if you do go this route, you should also read the following sticky from Big Daddy about how to use the SPL meter properly. It helped my set-up, and I noticed an improvement in the balance of the sound from my speakers right away. Here is the sticky....

Good luck!

I am not the expert in this area, but based on the frequencies for your speakers you posted I would think you need to set the crossover point to about 120hz for your subwoofer. Normally you don't want the crossover point too close to the bottom end of the speakers capability, with the 100hz bottom of the center speaker being your guide. I also think the speaker setting should be small.
