hey guys got it today and it does not work no scratches what so ever and i didn't get it in stores i got it from the trading forums has this happened to anyone else and what can i do ?

have you updated your firmware. maybe thats the problem or maybe try it in another player. if its the same there you should get your money back

That it won't play that particular title is a sure sign that your BD player IS working

The BD might be working BUT, if the player does not read that Blu, the odds are the Blu isn't good or the player's firmware needs updating.

i have a ps3 and updated it but it keeps sayin invalid disc and some numbers

I guessed because you purchased it from the forum that it was used.

If it wasn't and it is new, there still could be a problem with the disc.

I purchased a new Blu awhile back, got it home and it would not play. I thought there was something with the player.

Took the Blu back to Target to exchange it with another to discover that in that stack of new Blus, there were two different bar codes for the same Blu. I replaced the bad Blu with another but one with a different bad code. It worked perfectly.

But if the Blu was used, did you ask the seller if it worked on his player? and what kind of player was he using?

When you say it is not working what do you mean?

Is the player running the dic and nothing is coming up on the TV, the player not even trying to read the disc? What is happening?

i put the disc in then it goes to black screen then about 10 sec later it goes bac to main menu saying invalid disc

i just went my friends house and it says the exact same thing wow im really mad

As underhanded as it may be you could always take it to Wal-Mart, tell them you received it as a gift and it will not work, and just ask them to exchange it. If something like that does not work, you could always ask for a refund from who you purchased it from.

Not very ethical but maybe more on the dishonest side.
