Pearl Harbor UK - Blu-ray Forum

After read the reaviews about the exelent images that Pearl Harbor blu supouse to have , I goth the UK blu of the said film and I found the picture quality not good at all and full of grain,wich I hate it.

So i want to know if some one have seen both blu, the USA and the UK , coz the reviews from the USA blu regarding picture quality are fantastic and that's not what i've seen the in the UK version.

I don't think my US version lived up to the review on this site. I just watched mine copy today.

I have the UK version and the picture is outstanding... particularly the flying sequence at pearl harbour.

Michael Bay movies have always been grainy. He likes that look to his movies. So if your getting grain you are actually getting a very good transfer because it duplicates his vision very closely.

Is the UK Blu-ray the theatrical or extended cut? I have the extended cut on DVD, and have been patiently waiting for the extended cut to come to Blu-ray. It has to come out sooner or later.

Theatrical. I'm the same - the DC was very good and I'm hanging out for it.

Nothing wrong with the UK release, one of the shining examples of what a good MPEG-2 transfer can do. It's actually one of my favorite comedies.

I just got this for christmas (US version) and I think it has an awesome pq. Words cant describe the aq on this one.
