I had the Sony 32' XBR1, the first XBR LCD version which I used for my bedroom and so far, it did an excellent job . I hooked up 4 DVD players ( 1BD, 1 HD-DVD and 2 SD-DVDs) to this one input HDMI via a power HDMI switcher (4x1). The problem for this TV ( according to its manual two), if I turn on any DVD players first, and then turn on the TV, select HDMI input (input 6 in this case for all DVD players), I will not have any picture or sound, just a bank grey screen . If I turn on the TV first, and press HDMI input (input 6 in this case), then I turn on any DVD players, I will have no problem at all ... Is anyone experience the same problem and why the heck Sony design their TV that way ... I had other HDTV brands such as Samsung, Sharp ... but never have the same problem ... you can turn on anything first ... and voila ... Does the new Sony XBR version have the same design ? I'm sick of this, but the TV is too good to replace ...any advice
