If Jaws comes out on Blu-ray will you just buy the first one or buy all 4 - Blu-ray Forum

I just finishing watching the first movie which is one of my favorite movies in the whole wide world. After it was over I was thinking about when it was coming out and would I buy all four of them. I came to the conclusion that I would buy all 4. I would buy them all for one single reason, and of course that would be for a DTS-HD MA. I bought the 30th anniversery which to my surprise has a DTS which the other four don't have. I really am not fond of the sequels but I figure if they have a DTS HD they will make it worth watching.

Only the Original.....there's ONLY one JAWS. The standard DVD of JAWS 2 is sufficient for that film, which is not too bad and entertaining in it's own right. But for Blu-ray, Spielberg's masterpiece is a must. 3 and 4? Oh, jeez, I forgot-garbage day was Wednesday......

Jaws 2 was okay, but the rest...there's no way in hell I'd buy them. The first one is the only one really worth watching.

It's my favorite movie, I would buy it in a heartbeat. But I want the original mono track on the release with a healthy bitrate. None of this DTS-HD remastered stuff. Not for Jaws.

Just Jaws for me, the sequels simply aren't good films. The first one is freaking fantastic though, and I cannot wait to add it to my Blu-ray library.

No it's not. It's anamorphic. You must have the very first version of it.
