Angry Infocus 7205 owners Beware Pana 10A!

Infocus 7205 owners Beware Pana 10A!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There is a major compatibility issue with this projector and the Pana 10A

The only way to get it to show BD movies in any thing but std resolution is:

1. Set hdmi to OFF, then select 1080i in the component menu! This will give you 1080i at the hdmi port !! (yes the hdmi port) to the 7205
2. The 7205 will not allow the 10A to upscale dvds either copy protected or home created!
3. If you try and set the 10A hdmi up normally only Auto is available and this sends out std def!
4. Both PS3 and my Oppo perform ok at all resolutions with the 7205!
5. My 10A performs normally when tested with Pana plasma, and Toshiba lcd, on both hdmi and component inputs

Infocus European support can offer no help only to say “there are some compatibility issues with some manufactures hdmi protocols”!
