New Lower price on Wii starts this Sunday - Blu-ray Forum

The price will drop another $50 from the current MSRP, other companies "Xbox (MS), PS3 (Sony)..." plan to follow ... Cheers ...

I like the Wii for what it is, but if I could do it all over again, I'd buy a PS3 instead of a Wii and a BD player.

With Sony and Microsoft releasing their own version of "motion controllers" in early 2010, i don't see the point in buying a wii. At least wait until the Wii HD comes out in 2011. Nintendo is so behind in the graphics dept.

Damn. I just bought one from Costco.com last 2 weeks ago for $224. Does anyone know if they pricematch?

Has the Wii gone away yet? Maybe I'm a little old school, but if I want to go bowling or play baseball I will go outside and do it. When I want to work out, I hit the treadmill and lift weights. I don't depend on a video game simulation to provide me with activities. Playing a video game is a form of entertainment / relaxation for me. When I play a game I want to sit on my @ss with my feet up, not dancing around like an idiot in front of my TV screen.

Maybe it's just me, but the Wii is nothing more than a $250 paper weight. Oops, sorry, $200 paper weight come Sunday.

They most make TONS of money on each console. This is basically an Xbox (the first).....
