NFL Sunday Ticket Midseason Price...? - Blu-ray Forum

Does anyone know how much NFL Sunday Ticket is reduced by DirecTV after week 8? Or if they reduce it on or after week 8, for that matter?

I won a little wager with my wife on the Vikings going 6-0 to start the year, so now we get to buy Sunday Ticket, but I need an idea of if it will drop in price, and what price it will drop to.

Your help is very much appreciated!

I'm not sure of any price drops. I remeber when i first bought it years ago (I haven't started the season without Sunday Ticket since 1999) they had a special around week 12. It was full price, but you got it for the full next year. They might have switched that up to get more customers in recent days, but it's been my experience that the only time price ever went "down" was on renewal, and by "down, the price always went up a little each year but renewal tended to be cheaper than new.

I know they dropped the price of MLB Extra Innings (Obviously a lesser money maker for DirecTV) after the all star break, so I figured I'd post the question.

So if I buy it this year, around week twelve, I may be able to get a deal by having next year bundled into the full price?

Quite possibly because they do like to try and sell it all year and the longer a season goes, the more likely to deal. Keep an eye on the NFL Sunday Ticket page on Directv's website, because sometimes, they don't rush right to the airwaves with any mid or late season incentives but they will keep you updated of the price as it stands online. I can't remember a drop but I have seen bundles that included the next season in the past.

Yes they do have a deal around week 9....im not sure but i think it was $169 last year.

& if u want HD ask them about 'superfan'....i think they will throw that in for free.

Its out now:

49.95 in 4 payments so its a total of 199.80.

SuperFan for HD is 69.95 in 1 payment.
But u can probably easily "haggle" free superfan.

I got them to give me free superfan for 3 months and the last 2 are 15 dollars a month
