PS3 Slim Game Lag.... - Blu-ray Forum

Anyone else had this problem? I just got the new PS3 Slim and all my games are lagging at the moment of the cut scenes. Mirror's Edge, Uncharted 2, Wolverine and Batman Arkham Asylum are the ones I've noticed.

It'll pause and the little working circle shows up before the cutscene. They're no longer seamless.

Is there a fix for this? Is this the "slow bluray" thing I've heard about?

Had my Slim sinced it launched and (thankfully) have not had this problem.

I've never heard of this in regards to the PS3, as it is one of the fastest loading players. But I don' know much about the PS3 slim, is this a common problem with those? Bummer about the problem though, never heard of that.

Slim and Fat here.. no problems... unless you are smearing your discs with finger prints.. your blu ray drive might have something wrong with it.. just guessing though.

I'd also guess the Blu-Ray drive has something wrong with it. My Slim has not done this at all.
