Today I received my energy classic system with 8" powered energy sub. I have an onkyo 507 receiver. My satellites sound excellent, but I'm very disappointed with the sub.
With the volume on the rear of the sub set to max and the setting in the receiver set to 12db max, I can't hear the sub on any TV show or movie I watch. If I listen to the radio on the receiver, I do hear the sub banging away, but just enough to hear it. Shouldn't it be at least too loud that I would have to lower it? I mean it's set to max on every option available! Any ideas or suggestion to try out? |
