Horrible CGI work in Wolverine - Blu-ray Forum

So im just now getting around to watching it. I love the Xmen movies and this one wasnt too bad but wow! Some of the CGI work was worse than a scifi original movie! His blades in the bathroom scene, the helicopter scene, and the kids walking to Professor X at the end. I would understand if it was all bad but the cooling tower scene at the end looked great. what happened on this? did different companies do the CGI work?

It was a rushed film and it shows in all areas of the production.

It is really too bad. I wasn't a huge fan of the movie but that was the last straw that made me not buy it when it came out; I'll wait untill it gets a bit cheaper (under $15) or Christmas.

The waterfall part looked really aweful as well.

they probablyy rushed to get this picture finished so they could beat others (Star Trek, Terminator Salvation, etc.) to the box office

I seen this at the theatre playing on a digital projector and laughed out loud at the crude Professor X scene. Terrible, just terrible.

And if you're going to have bad special effects, you need a good story. This movie didn't have that either.

The claws looked rather fake. It was quite noticeable. The plot was a struggle especially since I'm not a big xmen fan. I did however put my new sub to the test with this movie. The aq is top notch and very active surround sound.

I think the story was cool, the fx on the other hand was okay.

I guess they had to put a lot of re-shoots just to make the film more "realistic".

OMG the movie was enjoyable because I'm such a big Hugh Jackman fan and he was awesome in this...but man the CGI was atrocious. Horrible.

Oh and in ALL honesty, the reason why I didn't purchase this film on blu-ray nor do I think I will ever...
