Black Friday - Need Help Buying a TV - Blu-ray Forum

Alright I got the ok from the wife to change out our 27" tv in the bedroom to a new flat screen display this coming black friday, but I dont know what I want at all, Im thinking a 32" to 40" display that will be sitting on a dresser sitting about 5' high and a viewing distance of about 10' away. Now I dont know what deals will be going on when black friday hits, or if ill even get one that is on sale, but thats when ill be buying one. I guess if you guys can give some good attributes to look out for when making this purchase and were not (shes not) wanting to spend more than $400, All help is appreciated thanks in advance.

Also I will be hopefully adding a blu ray player in the bedroom and also directv hd receiver

I would go no smaller than 42 inch in the bedroom. I had the 32 inch samsung from the pics in my HT gallery in my bedroom with a viewing distance of about 8-10 feet and it was way to small. But then again finding around 42 inch for around 400 might be a little tough. LG seems to have some pretty decent prices though and on black friday they might get even better.

What kind of deals can you expect on black friday with tvs? Im looking for a 40+ for my living room.
