Good day,
Looking for a little help for choice. I have an opportunity to purhase either a TC54V10 or a TH58PZ800. Just wondering which would be a better overall TV, besides size, one being last years model or price. Any input? Thanks |

V10 for sure, I actually work on Media Markt and from what I have seen the V10 looks and performs alot better. You get 600hz, THX and correctly handled 96hz.

The 800u is no slouch...and the sound from its speakers is 1000X better than the V10...so if you're getting a screaming deal, you won't be sorry.
But yeah, the V10 is pretty sweet. ![]() |

The speakers won't be used on the TV. Set up thru amp. The difference between price would only be a few hundred. |

One question:Is the price difference big?Take a look at them, and decide for yourself.Got a 46" Z80E and love the colours and sharpness.Heard the Z800 is better.Guess V10 is better still, but will it be negligible?
If price is no object,go for the best but then you wouldn't be asking would you ![]() |

Price difference is 2999 for 54v10 and 2799 for the 58pz800. Yes Canadian pricing. Not much of a differnce. My option would be to put them side by side and see. I've been leaning towards the v10 because it's a newer model but the 58 would be for size.

Asked and answered.
Given the size & caliber of display he's considering, he's talking about spending $2K+. At that price, a few hundred is a negligible increase. |

Even though I've heard that the 800 is a very good display, that price difference just isn't worth it. I've seen some prices for the 800 at different vendors since the new units have come out that were much higher, between 500-1000 dollars (In the U.S). problem is not many places have any left to sell.
