Germany Possibly Apocalypto steelbook

http://www.bluray-disc.de/news/filme...f-blu-ray-disc

Quote:
our announcement from the 15th September, 2009 (we reported) Constantin Film will publish in collaboration with highlight Communications Mel Gibsons "Apocalypto" (the USA in 2006) already in November, 2009 – and not only in December – in this country in High definition on Blu-ray Disc. Today the film was officially announced and will be available in accordance with the Publishers already on the 19th November, 2009 in trade. Beside a HD picture which was encoded in VC-1, the Blu-ray Disc shows two soundtracks which are both in mayanischer Originalsprache. They have here the choice between PCM 5.1 and Dolby Digitally 5.1. For the understanding of the dialogs German subtitles can be switched optional of course there.

Deleted Scenes, audiocomments of Mel Gibson and Farhad Safinia as well as a 25-minute Making Of enclose the extra. In our film data bank you can read up from now on all information about the release. In addition, everything seems to run out to the fact that "Apocalypto" – exactly like before already the DVD of the film – also on Blu-ray Disc will appear in the Steelbook. Nowadays there is still no official confirmation that the film appears in the special edition, hence, we ask this information for the time being with care to enjoy. The collectors who already have the import of the film at home and are interested now in a Steelbook should wait at first still for an official statement of the distribution (which should be to us during the coming days). As soon as information becomes known to us moreover, you can assume from the fact that we will inform you immediately above the topical state of the things. (pf)

I never bought this film for some reason. But I did enjoy it. Now I would have another reason to get it

I don't like Mel Gibson, I don't like subtitles at all, but I did enjoy this movie.

i'll have to see what the steelbook looks like before i decide if i want it. i will probably go for it as long as it doesn't have too much non-english written on it. i know that may sound kinda stupid since it's a sub'd movie but you know what i mean

I've been waiting for this to come out as a Steelbook, so let hope it's true!

It would be awesome if they embossed the pyramid!

As I read it, it's only going to have the original language Mayan and optional German subs. Unless you're fluent in on of those languages, it's going to be a little hard to follow what's going on.

Mueller exclusive? Is that an online retailer or just a store?

*Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Croatia, Slowenia....

* Not sure if you can get BD's there since they are only available in the so called "Mueller Multi-Media Stores" in Germany
