Got my spare TV on Black Friday - Blu-ray Forum

Hi all,
Well I got luck Friday morning. The wife and I went into Target about 6:00A.M., walked to the back and there was a bunch of Apex 40" LCD HDTV's. The price was a little over 400 bucks. I threw one in the cart and hit the checkout by electronics. Total time in the store was like 20 minutes.
Got home and set it up in the bedroom. Ran cable to one input and my PC to the other. Hooked up a spare insignia Bluray player.
All I can say is the picture is outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised.
Did anyone else get one of these? What do you think?

Great deal on the Apex. To be honest I havent heard glowing reviews about them but as long as it looks good to you then thats all that matters.

Yeah I haven't read any great reviews either. I figured for the price it would be a good enough spare in the bedroom. Goint to pickup an HD/DVR today from my cable company and see how that looks. So far Bluray looks great on it.

Hey you cant beat the price you paid for it and for a spare for the bedroom? I would do the same if I had a home or apartment. The bottom line is this: If you like it, it does the job you want it for then thats all that counts in the end.
