I predict that walmart will have some on sale for 199.98$, Best Buy will have them on sale for 249.99$, and Target will have tons of BOGOs. OF course that's only what, 6 months from now to think about it? So start saving now to take advantage of the BOGOs and cheap players! Of course that's assuming people didn't pick up a second PS3 from walmart for the gift card last week.

Hopefully a standalone blu-ray player(for my parents) will be $200-$250 on black friday, as well as $10 or less blu-ray movies, and hopefully a good deal on a 42" HDTV for my bedroom.

$200 is the target for these compainies. We WILL (to some surprise) see plenty of BOGOs this Holiday season. This winter is when Blu Ray will become the go to gift

I don't know that it'll be the "go-to" gift. I just don't see media going that route (think Furbies, Tickle-Me-Elmo, and the like). I think you'll see BOGOs and players for $50-$150 off, but I'm not sure Black Friday will see stores running out of Blu-rays yet.

I'm not sure if that's what you meant, just how I interpreted it.

WM had 14.98 BDs last year, so I would expect 9.99 this year

I don't ever want to shop on Black Friday again. Last year was my first time and it was a terrible night camping out with so many annoying people.

That's the first place I went, but some of the stores didn't offer it online. So I had to stand in line all night because they had limited quantities.
