What is the price of Blu-ray players on Black Friday?

EDIT: Also, is the PS3 price, going down for Black Friday?

It depends on the store. But you will find good brands for a cheap price. I'm looking forward to a new PS3 so I'll be visiting some stores very very early.

The last 2 Black Fidays a buddy and I camped out at our Best Buy and got some fantastic deals. Now we have a brand new best Buy that opens tomorrow right down the street from us. We will be camping out there this time. We have a small heater and popup tent in case we want to take naps during the night. Should be some great deals this year. Come on Thanksgiving.

By what I've read, its actually a great player. However, if you're an audiophile you'll want to steer away from this one.

The Sony 300 is already $199 at some places, mostly cause they are trying to blow them out.

The BDPS350 should be around $250 black friday.. As for PS3 they never lower price just add something like maybe free blu ray movies or game or a controller. Same with apple prodcuts

My buddy just called me from our new Best Buy. He's a DJ here and was invited into the store before they opened by the Chamber of Commerce. He knows the manager and said the new store is a completely different layout that they are trying. Supposedly there are only like 15 Best Buys in the country with this new layout. He said it's really nice. Going to have to check it out this weekend and pick up a bluray or 10 and maybe some PS3 games(Dead Space).

Virtually all of the Black Friday ads haven't leaked yet. Most expect some BD players to be on discount but no one can really say with any certainty. To be honest with the increasing scrutiny that Black Friday has gotten it is not as great as it used to be. The lines at Best Buy grow every year.

Players are dropping big time on Future Shop in Canada,,, the Panny BD30 for example is half of what it was a few months ago... check them out!

I remember a thread like this about a month ago and I could swear there was some insider guy who said the prices would drop "a little" on Black Friday, but that the industry was waiting for a couple of weeks before Christmas to crash the prices through the floor.

Does anyone remember this conversation or have anything to add???

should be better than that. perhaps about $199. if $250 I would expect some free BD discs to go with it.

LOL the only reason it dropped it's because panasonic had no other choice to lower it's 499.99$ player with the S350 (with is 2.0 and lower priced), the insignia with is 199$ at walmart and basically use the same hardware and all the other models that came out.

The new BD35 will be 399$ and i think Panasonic is shooting itself in the foot with that price.. (same feature than the S350 at 100$ more)

BD35 is $299, BD55 is $399.

That 35 is mine!
