Boxing day blu predictions

I'm expecting the following so if you guys want to hold on to your money.

Rogers video:
buy 2 pv and get 1 free


Blockbuster video:
$12.99 blu from previously viewed.


futureshop:
many titles $9.99-$19.99 (i.e. Terminator Salvation, Angels and Demons, Star Trek, Public Enemies)

bestbuy:
many titles $9.99-$19.99 (i.e. Terminator Salvation, Angels and Demons, Star Trek, Public Enemies)

HMV:
2 for $25 blus (older titles like Independence Day, Hell Boy, Equilibrium etc)

Walmart:
$9.99 movies (Ice Age, Mr. Mrs Smith etc)

anyone remember how was boxing day sales were last year at BB and FS regarding the BD titles... I didn't pay much attention back then should be expecting something similar this year

Wal-mart was pretty sick...if you could find the titles you were looking for...i got Sweeny Todd for 9.99

bestbuy had godfather and matrix for 45 i believe...although matrix was no where to be found lol

not really lookin for blu ray deals this year, got my eye on a new receiver so hopefully they have some good deals on those

thats why i wana get rid of my 720! lol

how much u want for it tho?
maybe i'll buy it off u and keep it for awhile, i just want a receiver that decodes lossless and all banana plugs

and plus my 720 has been acting up, so i need to get a new one

unfortunately for both of us, i was just kidding on selling it....it does kinda suck tho lol

I'm a poor student, so I can't really jump into the higher leagues of receivers just yet...too bad, cause some extra money would work out well

An example of a crazy deal LAST year... Best Buy/Futureshop had both Kill Bill movies for $9.99 each. Of course, with all the website crashes and stock sold out while you waited for that dumb @ss loading bar to say your transaction was 100 percent complete kinda took away from the joy of the savings. But remember when NO BLU-RAY was CHEAPER than $25... a WHOLE YEAR AGO?

I remember last year getting Sweeny Todd and The Love Guru for $9.99 each at Wal-Mart. But you have to remember that last year blu-ray was still really expensive, not as popular, and had less titles. I think that this boxing day we will see a number of deals on blu-ray. We have already had awesome deals this holiday season (hopefully this is an indicator for insane boxing day deals).

Also remember that HMV has $9.99 doorcrashers.

In 2007 they had 300 on DVD for $9.99

Then on 2008 they had 300 on blu-ray for $9.99 and The Dark Knight on DVD for $9.99

So if the process continues, expect the Dark Knight on blu-ray to be $9.99.

Also when the first boxing day deals surface I will make a boxing day thread and I will make sure to update it daily.
