The trailer was a bit misleading and you might think it's different than it really is. So I'm gonna go with no.

As much as I loved this movie and Michael Mann is one of my favorite directors, I would say no. If you like Michael Mann's other films that venture into the same territory, Heat, Collateral, Miami Vice, then I would say maybe. If you're not familiar with his work, he expects a lot from his audiences and does not explain much. He just throws you right in with no exposition. I personally love him for that.

Does every thread have to have somebody who obviously is not interested in it leave a comment that shows what a jackass someone can really be?
Yes. Apparantly it does.
Read something else if you don't have a valid comment. I buy more than rent like others and threads like this are helpful. Whats funny is you will probably come back to this thread to see you got a response to your lame comments. You must be really bored.

Dont quote my comments then and just put me on ignore if you don't like it. My response was answering another posters questions. But thanks for taking the time out to show what a douchebag you are.

Clown. What's next? I'm rubber your glue? Look at yourself? Obviously you needed those directions. Step 1. Put your head between your legs, Step 2. Insert head in Uranus and Step 3. Repeat step 1 and step 2 until an original thought strikes you. Move along son, I'm done with you.

I boldly took the plunge on a blind buy and I am excited about watching Public Enemy.

I also blind bought Night at the Museum 2.

No sh*t. It's getting ridiculous - it's literally like asking "will I like this movie I've never seen?" It's the same thing, seriously.
