Question Where are all the NINJA games!?

I was playing Metal Gear Solid 4 last night and got to the part where Snake meets Raiden and enjoyed that entire scene. This then got me reminiscing about the Ninja games of yore (Yi Ar Kung Fu, Ninja for the C64, Karateka..)

So.. where are all the Ninja games for the PS3!? We have plenty of other action games, war shooters, sci-fi, fantasy...

I'd love to play a kick ass Ninja with the stealth gameplay of MGS4 or Splinter Cell.

Beyond Ninja Gaiden (which is awesome), we need a new Strider and Shinobi. Anyone play Strider 2 for the original Playstation? Short game but arguably the best action game of that generation outside of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (and even that game incorporated RPG elements, so it wasn't a pure action game).

I know...it's not nearly the same thing, but I'd like to recommend the Zen Pinball Nija Gaiden Sigma 2 table!!!

It's so much fun.

We need a more superpowered ninja game like Legend Of Kage!!!

Remember that game??? The dude had a sword and stars and could jump...like...80 feet in the air!!!

I LOVED that game!!!

I'd like to see some new Tenchu games. But From Software needs to update the gameplay.

I wonder if they'd port over Ninja Blade from the 360. Was that any good?

Thanks all, i will definitely put Ninja Gaiden 2 on my list as well as Mini Ninjas.

Does Ninja Gaiden have stealth aspects or is it pure action? I think I read it's like a Ninja Tomb Raider with puzzles and platforming?

I love the Tenchu games, but my biggest gripes were the poor camera angles and subpar graphics (especially on the PS2). The enemy AI could be better as well (whatever they do, they need to keep the rice balls though )

Gamespot awarded it a 7.5, but IGN gave it a 6.5. Based on 55 press ratings, the overall average was 6.7.

It's all action. No stealth whatsoever. Stealth is what I always liked about Tenchu even though game mechanics were so-so.

The Ninja Gaiden Sigma games are pretty straight forward. There are no puzzles I don't think! Just straight up action all the way through!

I still own the first game, but I don't think I bought the second (I'll need to check my collection).

Though in Sigma 1, I spent a very long time retracing steps in levels to figure out where I needed to go next.

Yeah thats why I love how in Sigma 2 they added the R1 (or L1) button to show you where to go!

Ninja Gaiden Sigma has somewhat of a hub structure, more light problem solving, observation (gold beetle collection) whereas Sigma 2 pretty much drops everything for just action. Unfortunately IMO.

I really enjoyed that game. A nice fun little game. Plus where else can you have a boss fight where you're attacked with farts!

The only "puzzles" there are involve finding the item to unlock the next section, ala a key or something. Usually these are gathered by fighting and killing a demon then running back to the place where they can be used.

I played the Wii version, but yes I also enjoyed myself.

Though I can like just about anything that resembles a platformer with beat-em up mechanics. I-Ninja, the old Gex games, the Futurama game, etc.
