Default thumbpad (keyboard) for sixaxis controller

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=5651650

saw this today. searched on here for any info as to whether it works or not. it seems like a nice alterntive to the bulky keyboard. plus i'm used to thumbpads, i'm typing this on my phone's qwerty keyboard right now. anyone seen or heard of this thing?

Well, it is a Mad Catz product, so you're pretty much going to be gambling with your money and possibly even your existing controller. I would be weary about connecting a Mad Catz product to my hardware, whether it is directly to a console or my controller.

oh come on... madcatz isnt that bad. Theres been reports of that keyboard flying across
the room if you leave it on while playing.

Since there ARE games that you need to move the controller (Resistance, heavenly sword, etc), i would be afraid it would snap the mini-B... or maybe bend it. : /

Also- According to comments, its a pain in the ass to put back on.

Just buy a blue-tooth mouse+Keyboard. Works MUCH better. typing with one right now. My PS3 is basicaly my computer now...
