Uses for the Sixaxis controller

I was just wondering how games were using the Sixaxis controller and if you used the extra features it enabled. So starting it off:

Madden 07:
Offense:
-Pull up for a fake snap
-Push forward or backward while lead blocking
Defense:
-Pulll up to jump the snap
-Push forward to use hit stick

The only one I use is fake snap and jumping the snap. The right stick is much easier to use for blocking and hit stick.

Resistance Fall of Man:
-Shake controller side to side to shake off those Chimera that jump on you

Obviously you have to use this one in the game is you are jumped. Otherwise the Sixaxis is not used at all.

In motorstorm you can enable it to drive instead of using the joystick. By titlting left and right moves the car/motocycle in the direction you want and when you pull back on the motorcycle it does a wheely.

In Blast Factor you use it to tilt to turn over some of the things you have to shoot. There is no other way to kill them if you dont turn them over.

tilt towards the screen to move up, away to move down, left for left, and right for right


In Ultimate Alliance, you can use it to throw enemies once grabbed. Flick the controller in any direction and your hero will throw the bad guy in that direction. Also, to give any downward thrusting attack a little more 'mmph', flick the whole controller down really quick when the move connects.

Call of Duty 3 uses it pretty often. It has "mini-games" in which you shake off Nazis a la Resistance, perform actions like planting explosives, driving vehicles, and my personal favorite: flicking the controller forward to melee the shite out of those damn Jerrys (or whoever's pissing you off online)!!
