Sixaxis controller issue - Blu-ray Forum

Just recently my sixaxis controller has stopped turning the ps3 off. I can hold the PS button and the menu will come up with the options to turn off the controller or turn off the system, and I can scroll through them, but when I press X to select one, nothing happens. Then I am stuck in the menu until I reset the controller or turn the system off manually. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Never heard of this before. Have you tried pushing in and holding the reset (needs a paper clip) button on the back of the SIXAXIS controller while it's turned ON?

yes, i have tried resetting it... It didn't help

Turned the console off with the power supply switch on the back?
