Mass Effect - Blu-ray Forum

sorry if this is out of topic but

it draws me into thinking that i just completed Mass Effect 2 today! took me 3days of playing
trying to get loyal with my squad members and get everything prepared for the suicide mission

but mass effect is such an amazing game and mass effect 2 was even better.

i wasnt sure if alot of you fourm people out there? enjoyed this or not.. but im guess there are a few or alot of you that do!

but.. what were your opinons on ME2 and

my Score for it was a 10 even! it pushed the bar. made me think twice.
the Drama. and Darker elements to it were great.

its like if star wars & star trek = made a baby.. and that baby was
mass effect..

just curious.. people..

I've been playing ME2 since Friday and I absolutely love it. So far I've played for about 20 hours and I'm still working on all the side missions. I really wish I could play this on my PS3 (I'm playing it on my PC).

I dont enjoy it, you cant skip cutscenes and In an hour of gameplay there is only about 10 minutes of action, If I want to watch a generic b grade movie Ill go rent one, not pay 60 dollars for it

Wrong discussion. I guess the mod should move this to the Xbox 360 Thread.

However, I do want to play Mass Effect 2 on PC as well. I don't have a 360, but I'm guessing PC won't spoil the same experience 360 owners are having.

the games incredible. i completed it last night, with my team surviving and all. but
wow what a gripping emotion near the end..

its like a epic battle sort of like in Return of the King

its everything you have been fighting for to get too

i heard some true rumors about ME2 coming to PS3. .
there's no Exclusive Logo on the Case of ME2 so obviously
they plan on bringin it out on PS3 most likely

I tried the first ME and hated it... Gameplay felt sluggish and just wasn't fun. Videos of the 2nd one look a bit better. If it gets ported to the PS3 I'll give it a try.

I remember every minute of playing ME. It was amazing. Easily one of my favorite games of all time. Played it through about 6 times - at least. Yeah, sometimes for achievements, but also because the game was just so bad ass! And I couldn't wait for ME2. Then my 360 broke

and I can't really afford to drop $250 at the moment, which sucks, because I really want to play it (also don't have a PC so that nullifies that option).

The President of Bioware made a few comments recently that re-started the whole bunch of speculations about ME on PS3 (he basically said that they had a bunch of unanounced titles in the work for PS3, and refused again to comment on ME for PS3 - not even to deny).

This being said, I played the first ME on PC, and was actually a bit disappointed in regard to my expectations. From the company who gave us Baldur's Gates 1, 2 and KOTOR among other things ... There was so little RPG elements that it was frustrating.
Now, the scope of the game and its production values (not to mention its story, musical score and voice acting) were top notch.
So I was expecting a lot from ME 2 (that I might take on PC), but among the frenzy of near perfect scores (96 on Metacritic for the 360 version), some voices made me worry.
The French mag Gamekult (among some others) gave the game a scorching 7/10 due supposedly to the removal of anything left in the RPG department, to concentrate on the Action-adventure part.

Still thinking it would be great to enjoy ME2 on my TV in LPCM sound if it was ever released on PS3

I've been playing Mass Effect 2 since Wednesday. I love it! They improved on everything from ME1. I'm going to take my time to earn everyones loyalty before going on the suicide mission. I made the mistake of rushing through ME1. I'm going to go for 100%.

OP, did you get the Collector's Edition?

I would like to thank the OP for this thread as it reminded me that I still need to buy ME 1 for my PC. I have been dying to play this game for so long. So do you guys think that the first ME game is as good as Fallout 3 or better?

yeah i got the collectors its amazing

the game is sooo crazy... i mean

its a new perspective to bring your charecter over to Me2. it makes your role with your personal charecter mean so much more

and then to bring it from ME2 to ME3.. is just amazing

i love Bioware they are so in depth with story and stuff
