Not running these but I know Energy well enough and heard them perform in real life and hell ya it 's a good deal they retail at 800$ a pop.

Those Speakers sound really warm and your Elite is known to be bright on sound but hell of a receiver so I think it would make a really good balance maybe if you posted in the official Energy speaker owner thread people would jump to help you out.

There are several people that have the RC-70s that come on pretty often, and I know one of them auditioned several speakers prior to getting them and said they were way up there with much more expensive speakers. I am pretty sure that you would love them.

it seems as the guys in that review has had some pretty decent gear and so I would think they know what they are talking about. The one guy is using Rotel components, and are slightly bright, and it seems that he is happy with the sound. The other guy had some good speaker prior to these, the Missions, are nice speakers. You will need to let them break in, I know there is mixed opinions on break-in, however I had to replace on of my speakers a week after receiving it, and I can tell you there was a tone difference for a few days, and I heard the right speaker change tone... it was interesting...

Hope that helps.
