I noticed one owners opinion I trust saying he chose it over a JVC RS1, and at 2699.99, my interest in this one has increased.

Its a given these will be under 2k with a free bulb in three months or less and I am no longer interested in buying the more expensive pj's, only to get 1/4 of what you paid less than two years later in re-sale.
With prices like this, its much easier to upgrade every couple of years and lose less without giving up a picture that shines.
