Default Good spec HDMI flat or bends easy

Hi folks. I have very little room behind my TV where the HDMI cable plugs in. I have to bend the cable a lot to get it to fit right so I want to replace it with a flat one or one that bends well but I've been told the flat ones aren't as good. Can anyone recommend a cable that will work well for this? Need 15 feet. I do not want to use a right angle adapter. Thanks.

Get an HDMI elbow adapter from monoprice or add spacers to the mounted brackets behind your TV to give you more room. Good luck.

I contacted Bluejeans cables with your questions and they'll respond back in 24 to 48 hours, they're an excellent cable company that uses the professional broadcast industry standard Belden cable that networks use. They'll recommend the best cable for your specific needs. Their 15 foot HDMI cables will cost anywhere from $30 to $50 bucks which is excellent considering Monster and Audioquest would charge you into the hundreds or thousands for that length and still perform exactly the same. I'll post their response here when I get their reply.

Thanks for doing that. Pretty nice. Other people have mentioned theirs. I was thinking of getting the 15' "BJC Series-F2 Belden Bonded-Pair HDMI Cable". Is that a good cable? Will it flex so I don't have a hard bend on the cable behind the TV? I don't have much distance back there to work with. Thanks for the response.

Ok, I just got a email response back from Bluejeans (it's only been a few hours! great customer service!) and this is what their response was:

quote:"Unfortunately, the only solution we would have would be the right-angle HDMI adapter. However, even using the adapter won’t affect the quality of the picture in any way.

Thanks,

Andrew

Hmm. Alright. Think I'll just grab something from mono. Thanks for your help though!

I posted this on another thread, it's also suited for her too...

This looks like a very flexible HDMI cable:

Contact them and tell them your specific needs.
