I believe so, last I read they had some new people come in and edit the movie (this was a little while back). I'm assuming it is complete by now.

Hopefully this movie is more than OMG look at the blood and guts, hopefully it can sustain a story.

YAY We can agree see that wasnt so bad...

And yes that would suck, but knowing who teh actors are it would take a terrible script to make this movie suck

There's a first time for everything

I still won't be 100% certain on the release date sticking until this sucker is actually playing on some screens somewhere.

I hope the re-shoots, new editors and changed effects pay off...

I really want this to be awesome. Next year is going to offer a plethora of "R" rated action goodness. We already have a well received Vampire movie opening in January!

I get a "Sleepy Hollow" with more/better action vibe with it.

I agree. I personally have no desire to see it, but you would hope that it has some semblance of a story.

Amen. I'm always surprised how many people here won't see a horror film unless it's rated R, as though you couldn't tell a good, intense story in a less graphic film. If all a film has to recommend it is the fact that it's "brutal and violent" (as vegara88 phrases it), I'm not interested.

If the remake is as good as the original, I'll be a happy camper.

I'm anxiously awaiting this one and like everyone else here, I hope the extra time for re-shoots, editing and so on make it worth the wait.

Maybe the studio was trying to edit for a PG-13, then they decided to release as is?

Then again the BBFC might give it an 18 as they are sensitive to things with animal curtly.
