Has anyone seen or heard anything about Oliver Stones film 'Pinkville', about the My Lai massacre? Is it still going to happen or is has it been canned for good?

Wow, that movie was announced some years ago, it's still marked as In development on IMDb.

It's been stuck in development hell for a couple years now, unfortunately it's not looking very likely in the near future.

Its a real shame, from what I have read, its not a very well known part of the Vietnam war, and basically the people involved only got a slap on the hand. A big budget movie could open it up again and make people more aware of the war crime.

I really hope Oliver Stone can get this project moving, it's a very interesting premise that has the potential to win a lot of big awards.
