Excuse me for being dense, but if I ordered this Spanish version, could I play it on my PS3 here in the US?

I see it comes out on regular DVD this week, but no mention of a Blu-ray. (it's Paramount)

There is no US Blu-Ray of this title slated for release any time soon or even in the near future as of today

If it's Region coded B, no.
If it's Region coded B and A, yes.

You'l have to wait for someone that has a Region A player and the disc to confirm which, I guess.

Yea, I guess. But I'm thinking there's not much interest for this film on this forum.

Just watched some scenes and it is definitely an upgrade from the DVD. The darker scenes can be a bit problematic at times but the outdoor scenes are brilliant. With a movie like this, the detail pops up. In a tier level it's a bit higher than "Blood Diamond". The menu is a bit reminiscent of the menu from "Apocalypto". And yes, it has black bars. I'm guessing it's region coded but then again, the case proclaims it's region 2 (instead of B) so cannot really confirm it. For the sound, it only has Dolby Digital for English so I'm guessing its only a BD25.

If you love the movie, a must buy. I love it and its bloody worth it.

Well do you live in region B or A (or more specifically is your player B or A)?

Good find! The SD DVD already looked spectacular (one of the few times I would use the term near HD quality) so it will be interesting to compare it to the BD.
