The movie wasn't that good really. But old? Isn't it only a few years old?

well more like its 5 years old in America for the movie but Lady Death was first appeared in 1991 in comics

Well, 5 years is almost like yesterday. Hopefully ADV will release more titles on Blu-ray in the future.

Old? Original Astroboy from 1963 is old anime, a manga from 1991 & anime form 5 years ago is recent

Cool, is it coming from ADV? Or someone else? I figured ADV would want to 'announce' their first Blu-ray release. Maybe just testing the waters? Hopefully we hear more from ADV soon.

Definately! There are quite a few ADV titles that I'm looking forward to.

yup if you go to the link it clearly states its going to be under ADV's name just like it should not their weird company Sentai Filmworks which also say says in that same article that Clannad will not be dubbed and that just left a little bad taste in my mouth when reading that from sentai since i loved the dub that ADV did for Kanon and Air(notice the reason why i mention these 2 anime series because Clannad was created by the same people as Kanon and Air).

yeah ADV lost the licenses to Kanon, Air, Welcome to the NHK, Red Garden, 5 Centimeters Per Second, Coyote Ragtime Show, Pumpkin Scissors, Devil May Cry, Shattered Angels, Guyver, Venus Versus Virus, and i forget what else. 2008 was a very bad year for ADV with all of the delays on the releases and all of the licensing issues(it took me 1 year to finish Kanon when it should of only been 6 months). Funimation nabbed most of them already

I loved Lady Death when I was into comics.
I still have my Evil Ernie Smiley Christmas ornament!!! and every version of the Lady Death and Evil Ernie action figures.

Checked ou tthe link. I forgot about the new Sentai licenses. There are actually a few from there I'd like to see. Most noteably, I was hoping for the Indian Summer (Koharu Biyori) release get a Blu release. This doesnt look good for that one... I'll have to go find what other titles Sentai covers.

Death Note is already in America on dvd as far as the episodes and i know at least the 1st live action movie is also on dvd for America.
