I cannot find it in the menus where to let the PS3 know you have a 4:3 display. Perhaps it was in the initial setup of the player but I need to modify that as I may have chosen 16:9. I don't see a way of changing that initial setup or selecting 4:3 elsewhere on a menu if that is where it needs to be done.
I'm running component 1080i on a Tosh 50" 4:3 RPTV. TIA for your reply. |

Press and hold the Power button until you hear a beep. Then it'll reset to 480i.
Then go to Setup, choose Display to set it back. The PS3 may not have the options for ATSC 576x720p resolution. fuad |
