Upgrade?

Hello there, I currently have an Onkyo 605 which powers :

Klipsch RF-52 fronts
Klipsch RC-52 center
Klipsch RS-42 surrounds
Paradigm DSP-3100 sub

I am thinking of upgrading my receiver to a Pioneer Elite SC-27 as I would like to someday start to add separates to my system and probably new speakers.

Do you think I would notice a difference between the Pioneer and the Onkyo with my current set-up? or would I be better off to to upgrade the speakers first?
