Anyone else play Star Tropics back in the 90s?

A fun 2-d overhead view adventure game, where unsuspecting Mike Jones thinks he's just visiting his archaeologist uncle for a vacation on the islands.

Next thing he knows he up to his eyeballs in monsters, haunted caves, giant wrecking balls, purple ppl eaters (really!), aliens, and banana jokes. And I remember first seeing the final boss and shouting "Look! It's Shredder!"

I even played its very obscure sequel, which I got for $4 circa 1998. It was fun too, but I only played it once and don't have a lot of memory of it like I do the first one.
