If the player does the decode, yes. If the player does not, no. The DTS-MA logo does not appear on your receiver's product page.

Sure it does - the 4308 has DTS-HD decoding.

The 7 series Denon receivers were all HDMI 1.1 I believe and all the new 08 series receivers are 1.3a with a fair amount of new technology.

Both the AVR-4308, AVR-3808 decode DTS-MA. I believe there may be a 5808 coming out as well. I just picked up a 2308 for a client (not on Denon's website yet as they just arrived) and it doesn't appear to.

I expect I may end up with a 3808 or 4308 sometime next year. Gonna wait until after the plasma upgrade... mmmm... 60" Kuro...
