I misplaced both of my remotes for the ps3. I've looked for 3 solid hours. (I'm in the process of painting and remodling my livingroom).
I need a blu ray fix Asap. Can I buy another remote or handheld device to operate my blu ray player on my ps3 or do I need the original remotes to operate the ps3 to change the handheld devices??

since the ps3 is bluetooth enable, only ps3 remotes will work. i want a ps3 dedicated harmony remote to be developed NOW!

i asked a harmony rep about a ps3 harmony and they said they will never do it becasue of the blue tooth. its not that they couldnt make it, it has to do with security

Well then, Sony needs to come out with a universal remote comparable to the harmony - or provide a USB adapter.

As for the OP - looks like your stuck purchasing a new remote or controller - or both.

hey another san diego blu fan. just buy another remote, then when you find your other ones you have an extra. or cruise by poway. i'm the third trailer on the left.

My friend came over and the first thing he suggested was, "did you look in the blue tarp you used to cover the livingroom floor?" There they were...
I still can't get the sony remote to work, but I'm sure i'll figure it out someday. I hope.
Yes my friend, i'm not insane anymore, but I'm in sane diego still.
