Default I'm afraid of Neutrality

I don't think HD-DVD has a chance of winning, but I'm scared of "let's just get along" I've said this b4 and I'll probably say more times, if the formats are allowed to co-exist Blu-ray will get the short end of the stick, the films will be encoded for HD-DVD first then that encode will be thrown unto both discs, limiting Blu-ray's potential while HD-DVD fans are getting all HD-DVD can do.

I've decided to post this because since the format war I've personally held to view if we hold out buy Blu-ray only HD-DVD will fail and the movies we've wanted to see will look and sound even better on Blu-ray thus the wait is worth it. my view hasn't changed, but I've noticed alot of people are getting impatient, they want to see the HD-DVD only movies while still being a Blu-ray supporter, and of course with the additional sales of those various HD-DVD titles the war lasts even longer.

some people hold to the opinion that well it's just me buying this movie what impact will that have, the issue is when you have 10,000 people holding to that same view, during the early adopter phase of the war, it gives HD-DVD more ammo to survive even longer, leading to a potential stalemate.

I am Blu-ray only I don't even buy the DVD's of the HD-DVD movie I want, but I'm not here to impose restrictions, simply to ask all who are Blu-ray only to post here to show their numbers. We just need to wait a little longer, I believe that Blu-ray will win the holidays, then then format war will draw to then end, not over night but soon after.
