Default I don't care...

...if there have been 100 or 1,000 threads about this, I just got in the office and saw the news of Blu beating Transformers. Unfrikinbelievable!!!! I actually gave a little "whoop!" at my desk. Congratulations to all for achieving this defeat, we will win this.

We just knocked down their gate. There's no stopping us now!!

Just look at the ratio number 2:1. It's no surprise that blu-ray is still winning. Blu-ray consumers are too faithful to turn their back just to get Transformers. I don't love Transformers that much

Still, let's not get ahead of ourselves. It's not over until it's over. Now that there will be Blu-ray players at the $399 level (PS3), and with possibilities of firmware updates to include DTS-HD MA, more and more will need to be educated about Blu-ray more than ever.

There's no chance now for other HD competitors to jump in. Blu-ray has already won.....old news. It's just a matter of time when HD-DVD has no more room for improvement. In the next coming years, the ratio will go from 2:1, 3:1, 4:1, etc. And then before you know it, HD-DVD supporters throw in the white flag

I support Blu-Ray totally. I think hd-dvd is an inferior technology and anyone who supports it, does so because they bought a cheap hd-dvd player and want to justify their investment. How the hell hd-dvd is still oin this battle is beyond me. The only thing hd-dvd has going for it is cheaper players. I can't see someone weighing the two and going hd-dvd lol. BR has a huge storage, audio/video bitrate advantage, and much more studio support, which is what these new media are all about. Hd-dvd is dead man walking.

Anyway, saying that, blu ray had crazy sales last week. All the bogo, $9.99 blu rays etc.. I mean, I bought 15 blu rays last week with all the sales. Blu ray should have demolished hd-dvd regardless of transformers, unless they counted the bogo as only one movie sale.

This reminds me of the Civil War. Blu-ray is the North and HD-DVD is the South. The North had all the technology and the South didn't have crap.

It's strong news for blu-ray to be sure, but why is it unbelievable? Everyone and their mother were running the BOGO deals...that adds up quickly.

It's great, but it's not unbelievable.
